Column Writing Competition 2021

NIBONG TEBAL, 14 October 2021 – A Chemical Engineering Year Two student, Ng Kwok Keong joined and won Column Writing Competition organized by the Penang Youth Development Corporation.

This competition is a platform and opportunity for youth to demonstrate their creativity in writing and express their thoughts on any current issues they are interested in and encouraging the participation and involvement of youth in expressing their opinions and ideas.

The competition was held from August 20th and will last for one month. It was open to Penang students only where there were two groups aged 15-17 and 18-30 .The participants can choose to write their articles in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia or English with a theme of “Future of Learning: Can Virtual Classes Replace Traditional Learning?”, not exceeding 300 words. Under the guidance of Madam Khor Gek Suan, Ng won the favour of the judges for her excellent writing style and substantial content.
